What the HAIL?!!!!

It was up to 90 degrees today, but Olathe got the "hail" pelted out of it tonight. This chunk melted a little before I could gather the camera and ruler. As you can see it's AT LEAST one-inch in diameter and there's plenty more where it came from. I'm also posting photos my friends and neighbors took. Enjoy!

Our Spring has Unsprung!

I love springtime! But, just when I was getting excited about the purple blossoms, bright green grass, and flip flops, "Mother Nature" pulled a quick one and gave us one more snow fall--the biggest this year! By this afternoon, when I took these photos, half of the snow had melted and it is now 77 degrees in our family room (no heater necessary). You know what they say: "If you don't like the weather in Kansas City, wait a few minutes, it'll change."
