David returned from his two-year mission in Japan on Friday, August 6th, 2010.
We, of course, went to the airport toting signs and balloons to welcome him home.
When the "V" and the "I" finally arrived, we no longer spelled "DAD".
His favorite convert, Mai Miyamoto, flew in to welcome him home as well.
I was kind of happy to see him.
Mai can't believe this is real.
He keeps speaking in Japanese. Mai's laughing, but we have no idea what he's talking about.
We went straight to Chapala for some good Mexican food.
I think he's happy to be back.
WELCOME HOME, SON!
I'm trying to make up for lost blogging time. Anyone know how I make this post on August 6, 2010 instead of March 9, 2011 so that our lives are posted in chronological order? It's not working!!!
ReplyDeleteTry going into "new post" and click the tab that says "edit post". Once you're in that post there is a thing that says "post options". From there it allows you to change the post date and time. That should work...I think...I've never had to do it for a different day, only a different time!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, it didn't work before; but it's working now. Thank you, Candice!!!
